Homework

We will be sending homework home in a two weekly cycle. The date the homework will be discussed with the children will be identified followed by a description of the task. A maths challenge will also be included as a verbal fun task, this does not need to be recorded.

 

Monday 11th February 2019

Maths: We have begun exploring perimeter. We know that when we measure perimeter we are looking at the distance around a closed shape. Draw 2D shapes using a ruler and work out the perimeter.

Friday 15th February 2019

C&E: We have been looking at what it means to be part of a community and belonging. Make a poster that describes the positive effects of being part of a community.

Maths challenge: Say the three times tables while in tree pose. Practise this for both legs at least four times this week.

 

Friday 22nd February 2019

A&C: Create a collage of all the things you’ve done over the half term. This could include photos, drawings, captions, messages, key words/phrases. You can be as creative as you like with your creation, thinking about the shape and detail of your collage.

Maths challenge: Say the three times tables backwards on five different pieces of equipment at the park.

 

Please can we have homework books back by Friday 1st March 2019. If it is completed before this date please feel free to hand it in.
