Weighing it up!

Apple and Lime class have been writing about ‘The Little Red Hen’ this week, using our sound mats to write words, phrases and even sentences! We are learning to use capital letters, full stops and finger spaces when writing a sentence. This week Reception have loved learning to compare the weight of 2 objects, describing them as heavier or lighter in Maths.

We have been learning about customs and routines, by discussing and drawing about The Royal Family.

In PE, we are enjoying developing our skills in throwing and catching in pairs using a ‘crocodile catch’.

We have been continuing to practise out actions, words and songs for our Christmas Performance – ‘The Sleepy Shepherd’. Not long now!
