It has been a busy week for year 6 as they helped paint props, prepare and rehearse for the ‘Rock Bottom’ end of year show, visited their Secondary Schools and began planning their Leavers Assembly!
In Maths this week, year 6 investigated data and identified whether it could be misleading and why this would happen. They were shown an example questionnaire and discussed the many errors made in the way the questions were formulated. Year 6 were then asked to create their own in order to manipulate the data and mislead the reader.
Year 6 were also involved in the the school Eco project. Both classes made models of sea and ocean creatures that are becoming increasingly threatened by the plastics suffocating sea-life. Great participation by all! Well done.
We look forward to another busy week ahead – rehearsals, productions and Sports Day!
