Half term is upon us!

Celebrations! We have been exploring how people welcome a new baby. In particular, identifying traditions for Christians and Sikhs within an attractive poster. Did you know, for Sikhs their holy book Guru Granth Sahib decides the first letter of the baby’s first name!

For soft start we had wish Wednesday, where we had to think about one wish we would make for someone else. Lots of wonderful wishes made for friends and family; well wishes for those poorly and hopes of staying in touch with friends moving away.

Gold class were lucky enough to have their own concert when Nikhil shared his own composition on the keyboard and Lyra played her favourite piece. David also taught the children how to beat box.

Homework: This week we have sent paper copies home. Maths looks at identifying patterns in time tables, while English links to our Egyptian day on Tuesday 03rd November 2020.

We made it! All staff in the year 4 team have thoroughly enjoyed this half term and wish you all a wonderful rest over the next week. We look forward to seeing you on our Egyptian day.
