This week in maths we have been learning to find half and quarter of shapes. The children enjoyed folding shapes practically first, and then moving on to shading 1/2 and 1/4 of shape. Here are some fun online games linked to the learning.
Here is a 2D shapes song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTeqUejf3D0
In English, we have continued writing about the story of Beegu. The children have been retelling their version of the story using capital letters, full stops, adjectives, conjunctions and inference.
Science this week has involved sorting animals into carnivores, herbivores and omnivores. Here is a video which summarises what we covered.
In geography this week we learned to recognise human and physical features of an area.
Thanks again for all of your help this term. We hope you have a good Easter break and look forward to seeing you in the Summer Term.
