Happy holidays!

Well the end of a long term has finally arrived!  Everyone is very excited, exhausted and looking forward to a rest!

We have had a lovely last week of the Autumn term, with festive learning and activities including card making, making and decorating decorations, singing, writing acrostic poems and generally having fun!

We certainly did ourselves proud at the Year 2 singing concert.   Every child was focused and sang their hearts out.  We hope hope enjoyed it as much as we did, if you were able to come along.

In RE both classes have made some lovely Christmas cards for the Salvation Army, to be distributed with the toys the school collected.  This is to remind us that there are people that don’t have as much as we do and that Christmas is about ‘giving’.

Remember to keep reading, logging in to TTRockstars and there is a homework on Google Classroom.  No spellings to learn for the holidays.

Thank you so much for all the gifts we have been given, we really appreciate them all.

Wishing you all a very happy Christmas time, if you celebrate, and a lovely break.

See you all in 2024 for more fun and learning in Year 2!

Best wishes,  The Year 2 Team
