Happy holidays!

Wow!  Two thirds of the way through Year 2 already and what a great half term it has been!

It has been a short week, but we have managed to pack it full!

To end our science unit, the children have created posters identifying things they have learnt. Many included a drawing of micro-habitats with living things foun. around them and a food chain with scientific vocabulary displayed like producer, energy, consumer, predator and prey.  They did a great job!

In our final lesson of DT we baked our bread rolls, with our own chosen ingredients (olives, raisins, honey, sunflower seeds).  Hope they tasted as good as they looked.

Today we had lots of fun with Easter crafts, producing Easter baskets (which the Easter bunny slipped a few mini eggs in at lunchtime!) and pop up cards.

Thank you for our chocolate gifts and for your continued support with homework and reading at home.

Have a wonderful break and we look forward to more fun and learning in the summer term.
