We are into the last half term of year 5 so let’s make it an amazing one!

This week we had a great time at St Albans Museum, learning about real Victorian court cases involving children, looking at artefacts and exploring the old cells! Thank you to the museum for having us and making it so much fun!

In History, we also learnt all about the Industrial Revolution and wrote reports including lots of key vocabulary and facts.

In English, we started our new topic on 100 word stories, trying to be ruthless with our words and up level vocabulary. Our stories about a dog called Enzo were far better as we used amazing phrases and punctuation cleverly to reduce the word count.

Have a lovely weekend and hope there is lots of sunshine!
