OPAL

Welcome to our OPAL page!

Our OPAL project launched in April 2025. We have been working hard to create a space that is inclusive, fun and engaging for all children. We have introduced many zones including chalking, basketball, loose parts, climbing, water play, sand play, dress, up, chess and games, Lego and Duplo and instruments. 

Our playground encourages cooperation, social interaction, resilience, coordination, friendship, teamwork, creativity, problem solving and imagination. 

In June 2026 we officially became an OPAL Platinum School. We are very proud of this and continue to maintain and develop areas of our playground to provide our children with a wealth of different play experiences.

We need your help!
OPAL project is looking for a few items if you have them! Pre-loved items, things you no longer want are perfect for this.

Milk and food delivery crates
Large chalk
Wooden planks

To keep our OPAL play provision the best it can be we need....

Sand toys
Plastic gems and crystals
Plastic jugs and cups
Water play toys including ducks
Guttering
Metal sieves
Pre loved props including hats, crowns, scarves, glasses, wands, bags, purses
Cable reels
Plastic cones
Ice cube trays
Tarpaulin sheets
Wheeled items including prams, buggies, suitcases, trolleys
Cushions and outdoor cushions
Outdoor rugs
Pre loved clothing including shirts, waistcoats, dresses, skirts (adult and child sizes)

School is always open between 9am – 3pm if you have anything to drop off.
