August league finishes on a positive for Alban City Netballers

Alban City played their final game of their Autumn league against STAHS B and showed improvement again as they were level 3-3 until the third quarter. STAHS scored 4 goals in the third quarter and despite a final push with goals flowing the game ended 5-9 to STAHS (goals from Sinead x3 and Mary-Catherine x2). This means that we will be entered into a league based on our results for the Spring term where the girls will be able to compete for a league title.

Mrs Wonnocott has been really impressed with the attitude and resilience of the girls to continue to improve each match and compete against all the teams who have been playing netball since Year 4 together.

Mr Clements is starting to introduce netball to Year 4 and 5’s to encourage the development as a school.
