A creative week…

It’s been a fun week in year 5 with lots going on. Today both classes enjoyed a workshop with Herts County Council about the regeneration of Victoria Street in St Albans. The children were able to think of designs that could improve the area.

Sage class finished their moving toys this week – lots of great detail!

We have also carried on with our new Art unit and have been making visual notes, working on our sketching and extended our Art books for future lessons. It’s all about experimenting and exploring!

In Maths, we have been perfecting our knowledge of the bus stop method for division, even finding remainders as fractions! Times tables are super helpful in lots of areas of Maths so keep practising.

Next week we will be writing our Ancient Greek stories in English so keep thinking about what to include.

Have a wonderful weekend and see you for a very cold week next week!
