Happy Half Term!

We are very excited to send our persuasive letters, chocolate bars and promotional posters to Montezuma’s! I am sure that they will love our creations.

Maths this week has been all about area. We even worked out the area of compound shapes by splitting them into 2 or 3 rectangles and identifying the length of missing sides. I hope that we will all remember that area is measured in cm squared (or other units squared)!

In Geography, we looked at food growth around the world and how importing food can have positive and negative effects on us. Did you know that avocados mainly grow in the Mediterranean?

Our last few emotions in Feelit have been sympathetic and terrified – the children were able to share some good examples and we talked about how to help ourselves and others with these emotions.

Have a lovely half term and enjoy a well deserved break and rest. See you in a few weeks.
