We had a wonderful World Book Day yesterday! There was lots of reading, creativity and story writing! It was lovely to see such creative costumes and Year 5 paired up with our Year 2 buddy classes to read. It was fun to create big posters for the Library display – coming soon!

We look forward to writing our stories based on Chaperon Rouge next week. We have plans ready and now just need to start writing! In Art, we are creating sets based on the story as well – thank you for all your cardboard contributions – we are ready to start crafting next week!

In Maths, we found the link between percentages, fractions and decimals. Remember that a percentage smaller than 10 is 0.0_ as a decimal.

In Science, we created catapults with lollipop sticks and elastic bands as part of our pulleys and levers unit. We thought about how much force to apply and what alterations we could use to enhance how our catapults worked.

Have  lovely weekend and see you on Monday!
