Yesterday, Year 5 had a wonderful Art day based on our topic of typography. The creativity was amazing! We created letters and words with collage, made themed alphabets and drew realistic animals onto maps (straight in pen!) Well done everyone – you are all fabulous artists.
In Maths, we have been recapping our multiplication and division skills. We have learnt how to write remainders as whole numbers, fractions and decimals, including how to identify when real life situations require which type of remainder.
Both classes have now watched “The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse” and enjoyed identifying positive quotes that can help us all at different times of life. Some children even came up with their own quotes – how inspiring!
Have a lovely Bank Holiday Weekend! See you on Tuesday!
