We’ve had a great week back at school in Year 5 full of predicting the future, the Ancient Greeks and sadly a lot of rain!
In English we started our new class book called “The Strange Case of Origami Yoda” so we are learning to talk like Yoda and consider whether he could be real or not… Is Dwight secretly a genius?
In Maths we have been recapping Place Value and reading and writing numbers up to the millions! Keep practising at home and remember that the zeros are important. A challenge could be trying to partition a number with decimals in.
Thank you for all the shoeboxes – we have designed our moving toys so will enjoying decorating and creating our Ancient Greek themed mechanisms over the next few weeks.
