In our second full week of term we have continued to learn about castles. In our discovery time we have improved our ideas and worked out how to make all the features of a castle. On Wednesday we were challenged to think about what sort of castle Zog would live in. We came up with some exciting ideas including a runway, a roar room and a high tower to practise catching princesses.
In Maths we have subtracted a one digit number from a two digit number (e.g. 17-9) using different resources. In English we have written about all the things Zog learns at school. In PSHE we thought about our class rules.

Thank you for your support with their first homework of the year – the books look great!
They will also be coming home with spellings to reinforce our learning from this week. Please use the practice sheet to help learn them and we will be checking this at the start of our Spelling lessons on white boards next week.
