Roads, Rain and Reports

For the most part, the children have had a lovely time out on the roads of St Albans as part of Bikeability week. Despite the wind, rain and the odd wobble, the children learnt a lot and enjoyed the experience. Badges and certificates will be awarded after half term.

Back in the classroom, we have been asking the question, ‘What did the Maya ever do for us?’  It turns out that the answer to that question is – quite a lot! We carried out some research and wrote a short report, detailing just some of the ways that the Maya have had an impact on the world as it is today.

The Halloween disco was a big success and we ended the week with a non-school uniform day and crazy hair! Time for a rest!

Have a great half term and remember there is an INSET day on Monday when we come back.  See you all on Tuesday 4th November.
