We hope you all had a lovely half term break. We are all raring to go for the next half term and the lead up to Christmas with lots of fun activities planned.
The term has started off as busy as ever. In English we read Jim and the Beanstalk which has led on perfectly to ‘measuring’ in maths. We have been measuring everything in sight and comparing and ordering lengths. Some amazing beanstalks, glasses, houses and lots more have been created and measured.
In History we have found out all about the Bayeux Tapestry and the story it told. Did you know it is 70 m (7000cm) long? We have been so creative in our discovery time, showing the Bayeux Tapestry in so many different ways using all the resources available in the classroom.
A great start to the new term!
PE days have changed for both classes:
Scarlet: Monday and Thursday
Crimson: Tuesday and Thursday
Have a lovely weekend.
