Half way through the half-term!

This week we have started a new English unit. We have begun reading ‘Robot Girl’ by Malorie Blackman. The children have enjoyed  the lively character descriptions and acting out the story together. The book, which centres around an A.I, robot girl, has created important discussion points about the ethics of Artificial intelligence.

In Maths we have been looking at problem-solving, using bar models and working backwards.

Furthermore, our practical science lessons, where we used different materials to create aerodynamic parachutes, have been very insightful. We found that the plastic bin bags were the most successful when tested.

It has been a busy week. See you next week and have a lovely weekend!
