In English we have introduced the story ‘Paper Dolls’ by Julia Donaldson. It is such a wonderful story and the children have loved the rhythm and repetition. We have seen lots of fabulous creations in Discovery time and look forward to our own paper dolls going on adventures.
In Maths we have been working on adding 2 digit numbers when you need to exchange 10 ones for one 10. See the steps below for the sum 17+15=32
We had great fun in Art this week choosing an instrument to combine with an animal or imaginary creature. The results were amazing and the children worked so well together with their ideas and a partner, including naming their design.
