This week was children’s mental health week. Throughout the week we looked at different ways to look after our mental health. We also focused on the other people that can help us if we are sad and we created our ‘people that can help us’ hands. We chose five people we trusted and spoke about how different people will choose different people to put on their hands.
In maths we are focusing on fractions. We are starting to use the mathematical terms numerator and denominator more and understand the significance of them to the fraction. We started looking at fractions of amounts of things and will continue to look at this after half term.
In English we did a few lessons related to our Geography lessons. We researched and made notes on different mountains. We enjoyed learning new facts about mountains!
We haven’t set any homework this half term, but have sent home the spellings like normal.
We hope you have a lovely half term and are looking forward to he Spring 2 half term.
The year 3 team.
