It was really good to get to see you all in the Parent Consultations over the last two weeks, and get to show you all the great work and learning your children have been doing.
In Maths this week we have been having fun with our times tables and arrays. The week began by making human arrays in the playground! 3 x 2 = 3 groups of 2 children. Thankfully it didn’t rain!
The fun continued into D&T as we have been baking this week. Our theme has been ‘bread’ and on Monday we tasted a variety of types of bread and then had a ‘talk time’ discussing which ones we liked/disliked and why. Later on in the week saw us making our own bread rolls – using all sorts of skills including following instructions, measuring ingredients, mixing and kneading and then showing patience while we waited for the dough to rise. The results were impressive and very tasty.
We can’t believe we are embarking on our final week of the Spring term. Where has the time gone?
