Welcome back to the Summer term. We hope you all had an enjoyable break.
Our English this week has involved immersing ourselves in the rainforest. We have imagined what we would hear, see, smell and feel if we visited a rainforest. Our discovery time has given time to show the rainforest in so many creative ways.
In RE we have been looking at Hindu temples and some Hindu worshipping rituals. The children have been fascinated and were very interested to hear Mrs Kohli speak from personal experience about her religion. They asked very thoughtful questions.
The children have focused on amazing temple drawings. It is not easy to draw such detailed mirror images but with a lot of amazing observation and perseverance we have some incredible works of art to feel very proud of.
This term’s homework is coming home in the purple homework books. Please support your child to complete their weekly task and encourage good presentation if the task involves writing.
