This week we have been working hard on our Horrible Histories leaflets about Victorian Inventions. We have some very humorous and punny people in Year 5!
We have also been looking at Roman Numerals. It’s quite hard to remember the rules and orderings of them – anything involving 4 and 9 means that you need to do some subtraction. It’s been great to see the children get stuck into challenges!
Thank you to everyone who came to open evening – it was a lovely time and great to see all the children’s hard work. We can all now say we are proper artists as our work has been in a gallery!
We have been working hard to get ready for our £5 challenge next week! So much creativity has gone into creating our goods and we’re confident that we will make a sizeable profit! Thank you Mrs Carter for reading our persuasive letters and allowing us to go ahead with the sale!
