What a busy week for Year 2! On Wednesday, we all boarded a coach and headed off to Bhaktivedanta Manor near Watford to learn more about the Hindu faith. We visited the shrine room, learnt about traditional music and even got to wear wonderful Indian clothes. We then had a delicious vegetarian lunch together. It was great fun to have a ride on a cart pulled by oxes before visiting cows on the farm and feeding them.
This week, we also had transition day. Everyone got to see their new classes and meet their new teachers. We will have so many fascinating topics in Year 3!
It was great to see such colourful and professional looking portaits at the open evening as well as children’s framed art work which everyone took great time and care to complete.
