This week Year 3 children were transported back to the Stone Age! When we entered the hall on Tuesday, we were suprised to find a cave man from this prehistoric era! He was making his own tools, wore animal skins as clothes and had to hunt for his food. He even tried to create fire to cook over and to keep warm.
After teaching him how to speak, children went on to learn a lot about this facinating period and how people lived.
Everyone enjoyed taking part in exciting workshops including archery, creating cave paintings on slate and a bone investigation. An excellent day was had by all.
