Changing and surviving

In Science we learnt about how humans change and grow. We thought about what we needed as a baby and what we can do now. Luckily, Miss Hanbury was back and we got to ask her lots of questions about her baby including if he had ever been on a train or plane. (He has been on both)!  We showed this in our Discovery time.

We also learnt about the survival needs of all animals including humans. We discussed what we thought was most important and ranked them; air, water, food and then shelter. Everyone really got excited showing our learning about this in Discovery time.

In Maths we worked on coins and making amounts out of different types of coins .e.g. 64p=50p+10p+2p+2p

In English we continued to work on Paper Dolls, thinking about our own Paper People and what adventures they might have.

Three times a week we have ‘Let’s Read’ where we really enjoy reading in groups.  Sometimes we read with an adult, sometimes in the book corner and sometimes we do independent reading tasks.

Have a lovely weekend.
