We have had lots of fun this week transforming our sticks into a stick person. We started by playing with materials to create something that grew from a ‘seed’. Then over the rest of the week, creativity and techniques have been oozing in Year 2. We’ve used sticks, wool, felt, fabric, pipe cleaners, lace, cotton wool and anything we could lay our hands on! The process and results are fantastic. We love them and can’t wait for you to see them.
In Maths we have been finding fractions of shapes and numbers. Look how hard we have been working.
We had a sports day practice at the field today and feel ready to have some fun next Friday morning. Hope to see lots of you there. Thank you to parents who have signed up to walk down with us over the next few weeks.
