The week started and finished in a very sporty way. We started with a visit from the athletics Olympian Jodi Williams and our sponsored exercises and ended with a really fun sports day. Weren’t we lucky with the weather?
In Maths we have had fun learning about capacity. We have linked this with our work on George’s Marvellous Medicine and been inventive in our discovery time. In small groups we ordered different sized and shaped containers into largest to smallest and then filled them with water, reading the scales and noticing how the capacities varied. We were surprised that a tall skinny container actually had a relatively small capacity.
