What a first day! After tucking in to our yummy packed lunches, it was straight off to the activities: fencing, archery, team building, climbing wall, Jacob’s Ladder and aeroball.
Almost all the children agreed that the dinner of pasta bolognese, garlic bread and chocolate fudge cake was a perfect way to refuel before fun and games on the field to round off the day. Well almost…the weather had other plans. Thunder and lightning bought an early end to the field games and we returned to the rooms a little early – excited but soaking wet!
