Day 2

That’s a Wrap on Day 2!
What a long and very wet day! We have to hand it to the children though—they rarely stopped smiling and soldiered on, making the most of every activity on offer.
Coracle building certainly provided plenty of extra water, with many children ending up wetter than the weather itself could manage!
This evening, many commented on the tasty dinner before enjoying a trip to the shop. Once the rain finally eased, everyone gathered around the campfire to toast marshmallows and sing songs. Now, the children are enjoying a final snack before settling down and getting ready for bed.
Despite the rain, spirits have remained high throughout the day, and the children continue to impress us with their enthusiasm, resilience and positivity. We’re looking forward to seeing what Day 3 brings!
